IT’S FOODINVENT.

I, Marco Gerts, started working at the age of 12 at Vos & van Dijk, the Syrup Waffle Factory of my father. Syrup waffles, the making of and the machines that make the waffles became a part of my life, a second nature. It became a passion.

That’s when I decided to be educated as a Food Technologist so I could also start working on recipes and know more about chemistry and ingredients.

Later on I added craftsmanship, building parts for the machines that were not for sale. Making special items. Making the parts better and if necessary develop new parts and, if necessary, make them by hand.

These three combined made that I refurbished syrup waffle carrousels and started my own Syrup Waffle Factory, Koekie4you, in the past. 

With all of the above experiences I started Foodinvent in 2012, to extend my experience and share my passion with the world, with you. 

Foodinvent is a developer of bakery products and the machines/production lines for the bakery industry.

We are specialized in (re)developing and innovation of machine parts, recipes and also manufacturing production machines. Especially syrup waffle carrousels (35+ years experience).

Foodinvent is also known for refurbishing production lines, syrup waffle carrousels and ‘one of a kind’ machine parts, made on request.
